NIKKE LAB BROWSER COMPANION - 0.1.1 PREVIEW

ONE-TIME TRIAL INSTALL (desktop Chrome or Edge)
1. Unzip this folder somewhere you will keep it.
2. Open chrome://extensions (Chrome) or edge://extensions (Edge).
3. Turn on Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the folder containing manifest.json.
4. Sign into BlablaLink in this same browser profile.
5. In NIKKE Lab's import screen, choose Import with your browser, enter the authorized profile, and start the import.
6. Allow NIKKE Lab to open its BlablaLink popup. Keep it open until the roster returns for review.

This preview is not yet a Chrome Web Store release. Updates are manual: replace this folder with a newer release and choose Reload on the extension card. Do not delete the folder while the extension is installed. Remove the companion through the Extensions page to uninstall.

If BlablaLink asks you to sign in, use its own sign-in page, then Retry import in the companion. An expired or closed popup requires a fresh import from NIKKE Lab. No passwords, cookie copying, userscript manager, terminal or local server is needed.

PRIVACY AND LIMITS
Only explicitly requested, authorized imports run. The companion uses the browser's existing BlablaLink session; it does not read or export cookies/passwords. Official account requests and public game-table requests go directly to BlablaLink. No shared NIKKE Lab login or online-import quota is used. The official service's throttling still applies; only one companion capture runs per browser profile at a time. The current validated roster cap remains 250 units, and a sanitized capture larger than 5 MB is rejected with a size error before anything is sent back.

Calculation and validation run on this device. Only a complete, sanitized snapshot goes back through a one-use browser connection to the NIKKE Lab tab that requested it. Nothing is applied or saved automatically. Saving to a cloud Library is a separate choice in the app. The extension saves only a random local fingerprint key, not rosters, account IDs or credentials. This key generates a stable pseudonymous account fingerprint. Reinstalling the extension may change it.

Permissions: local extension storage and a content script on the two exact official BlablaLink ShiftyPad hosts. No browsing history, cookie-reading permission, all-sites access, hosted relay, analytics or downloaded executable code. The localhost NIKKE Lab desktop origin is allowed for local testing/import. Packaged JavaScript is the only code executed by the companion; the current official resource index is inspected as text only.
